On Thursday, I was one of seven bloggers to be invited to join Evans for brunch and to have a look at their new Autumn/Winter 11 collection.
I met up with Carla, Lauren, Stephanie, Rosie and Naomi outside Topshop on Oxford Street and we proceeded to get lost on the walk to the building which Arcadia Group was using to show off their collections! When we eventually arrived, we were greeted by the Evans team and met Laura and LaCara, provided with refreshment and allowed to wander and have a look at the new range.
Evans’ range has a slightly more sophisticated air to it and as the oldest of the group (gulp!) I loved the pleats, kimono shapes, 70 themes and slightly muted colours. Style369 was more vibrant and fun, which I equally loved. Evans have lots of things afoot for Autumn which you will all find out in due course. It sounds very interesting and the team are so passionate about it (remember that haters on Facebook!!) that you couldn’t help but get caught up in their enthusiasm. I really hope they manage to pull it off because I think its a bloody good idea!
Afterwards, we headed to Covent Garden for pizza at Fire and Stone to celebrate Carla’s birthday.
