FAT SWAP SHOP – The Swap!

Yesterday I hosted my first ever blogging event. As with every event, some things did not go according to plan – such as the items from Simply Be going AWOL and quite a few last minute drop outs. However there was heaps of clothes and everyone who came managed to go away with a few gems! Here are some pictures from the day:

I gave everyone the challenge of creating an outfit from the items they had collected and the ladies did extremely well!

  Thanks Nicole. It wasn’t as stressful as I thought it was going to be – apart from an hour before when about 10 people pulled out. However the number we did get was a really good crowd and we had a laugh.

  I don’t know if I’ll host another one but there was lots of chatter around having more events. Maybe even a conference.
